The webcam doesn't work

I installed the ubuntu 9.04 OS and the webcam doesn't work
The Laptop is Acer Aspire 3100

you could try upgrading the ubunto to the new koala version. I know they had an idea that they were going to have 100 drivers that will help run the computers functions after installing just the OS. You could see if that upgrade helps, otherwise look for what kind of webcam your computer has and then get a driver?

I'm not really knowledgeable about ubuntu, i've only used it a little bit, but it can be tough to use with different hardware.
