Vista - Problems occur after optimizing Vista
1. Cannot enter system after cracking TCP / IP concurrent connections
Many cannot enter the system after they optimize Vista. The screen prompts an error that changes of hardware or software lead to Windows not starting.
This problem occurs because the use of optimization software has changed the TCP/IP concurrent connections, thus cannot enter the system after restart. This is closely related the anti-piracy technology of Vista. In order to prevent the attack and spread of worm virus, Vista limits the number of TCP / IP concurrent connections (home edition allows 2, Ultimate allows 25). Vista controls the number of threads by means of "c: windows\system32\drivers\Tcpip.sys " which is a driven configuration file. If you change it, Vista will mistakenly believe that your hardware configuration is changed, resulting in failing to start.
Solution: Repair the problem with Vista installation disc or PE boot CD. If using the auto-repair function at start of PE, you can at the command prompt, replace the original file with X: Windows\System32\drivers\tcpip.sys.
2. System patch cannot be installed after optimization of system services
After optimization of Vista system service by using software, when downloading and installing system patch, the system prompts "an error: 0x80070422 occurs to Setup" causing the patch not to be installed.
Analysis: Vista is much harsher to system service management than XP is. This problem results from the shutdown of Windows automatic updates service. When installing some patches, Vista may use the automatic updates service (to connect to the Microsoft Website for verification). If it detects that the service has been shut down, Vista will terminate the installation.
Solution: You can solve the problem only to turn on the automatic update service again. Click "Start" input in the Search Box "services.msc" to start the service management components, and then double-click the Windows Update service at the right, and set the startup mode to "Auto", and meanwhile start the service.
