WinXP - Hang Up Problem
The first time I start my PC, say in the morning, windows hangs up after 2-3 min. But after reboot, it can run for days without hanging up. I have 2 OS,(dual boot) Vista and XP. Same behaviour on each OS. PC is Core2Duo 2.66, A-bit board, Winfast 256 mb PCIe, 2gb King max ddr2, Audigy Souncard. Could this be a possible harware problem?

If it's the same on both OS's I would definately say hardware...

Have you checked the event manager (unlikely to help but always worth a shot)?

Notice anything unusual right before it hangs? excessive CPU usage, high CPU temps?

After it has hung and then restarted, will it run indefinately or does it hang again after a few days?
