Cant view my Hardive !!!

I went to this bogus website that loaded some kinda exe file on my computer. My antivirus (nod32) did not catch it. My firewall poped up and i denied access. After denying access for the application to go online, all my desktop icons disappeared. I started getting various erros. And when i go to my backup hardrive, it shows absolutely nothing there. But yet it still says 880gigs used of 1000gigs. I took the backup hardrive out and installed it onto my other computer. Still nothing is there but yet it says 880gigs used of 1000gigs.



What could of possibly happened to my hardrive so its not letting me access anything on it?

Also, The hardrive allowed me to go my folders. Example. I typed F:\downloads and pressed enter, and it actually allowed me to go into that folder, but yet it was still empty.

any input would be greatly apreciated. i tried doing a scan on the drive to make sure there is no erros and still nothing. The hardrive worked great right before i view this bogus website.

I would try a system restore to before the date of this virus if possible as my first course of action.

my system restorer is turned off any other ideas? i dont think a system restorer has anything to do with my backup hardrive not working. LIke i said, i installed it on my second computer and still unable to view it
