naa there is no reason why there would be a driver conflict between this tuner card and your Nvidia graphics card, they will act as independent devices. I have not used this tuner with an 8800 GT, but I have used it with several Nvidia graphics solutions ranging from IGP 7100 series to dedicated 9600 series, and have never had any trouble.
I have had trouble with the ATI tuner drivers themselves, but it was not caused in any way by the video card or its drivers. I tend to use Hauppauge tuners more than anything else today, but the HD650 is one of the most popular HD tuners on the market.
PC components have to be made and certified to be compliant with certain standards, if it meets those standards there is no reason why it would interfere with any other component. You can even run an ATI video card and an Nvidia video card together in the same system without any trouble.
The biggest concern for anyone buying a TV tuner right now is to ensure that it has sufficient drivers for the operating system you intend to use, and to make sure that the software (official MCE or 3rd party PVR/media center) will work with the tuner card you are going to buy. Some of the features of these tuner cards can only be accessed currently through windows Vista, and XP and Linux users suffer until official support is added.
