Plz Help :(
Hi all!
I`ve tried to install Windows Vista Ultimate but just before the installition was compleated ,my monitor goes to standby,and i cant boot it either after the restart. I`ve also tried to boot Knoppix 5.1.1 LiveDVD but the same thing happens. After booting my monitor goes standby just before the welcome screen. With Win XP Pro x86 and x64 i`ve no problems . My PC cfg is: C2D 6300, ASUS P5N-E SLI, 2 x 1GB kingston DDR II RAM, 160GB WD SATA II HD, CoolerMaster eXtrem Power 430W PSU(+12@19A), XFX 7900GS 256MB DDR III 450M . I would really try Vista so please help me! ps. I`ve tried with 3 other monitors with no success.

i dont think its a monitor issue...with it crashing on both vista and knoppix it could be a multitude of different issues....video card/drivers....bad RAM....hard drive...id take a look at your video card first then check the ram configurations and then your harddrive. See if you can get some other parts in there that you know are good!
