Pci-e problems, please help
hey i have a micro atx board D945GCCR...i got a new power supply 500w and 2 gigs of ram and i got a 8800gt sonic 1gb and it does not want to work i dont get a blank screen i get a screen with a million colors on it and it flashes a couple times but just stays the same, any advice maybe the card is bad or bad pci-e slot?

Could you tell us what brand of PSU you've got? it could be that it doesn't put out as much power as it's supposed to if it's a cheap one.

its a Apevia / 500-Watt / ATX .. AC INPUT 115V/230V 10A/6A 60/50Hz +12V/34A

well it must of ben the power supply because it poped and now it's dead, don't ever buy one of them power supplys it is deadly
