So if I got this right, my Ti4200 has a NV25 core as does the 4400 so im alright with flashing it?

Can someone else explain the ns memory stuff? Ive been looking on google for a while for stats and stuff like the core, that took a while to find... Can anyone point me to where I find out about the memory and such?

thx

ns = nanosecond. flashing a card requires you have the same kind of memory and same core. if you have hynix 2.8 on one card and hynix 3.3 on the other with the same core, then flashing is possible but your card may not boot because trying to run lower latency (faster) ram on a higher latency (slower) card will cause a backup and indirect overclock. find matching ram speeds and core and your good to go

yes their is, nvidia cards are less stable to flashing then atis but hey the downgrading that nvidia dose on the same core is very large so go for it if you have a extra card/bling laying around

It worked... After some time fiddling with the MHZ I finally got it stable running at 515/975...
Before it was 400/720... It was kinda like gettn a shot...
It stung at first but im glad its over and its all better now...
This has to be the biggest free and easy upgrade I ever did...
Thanks everyone for your support...

at the beginning he said that 5900XT cant be flashed to 5950 or ultra's coz they have 3.0ns memory

my XFX 5900XT has 2.2ns memory an is clocked at 470core 950memory

So seeing as i have 2.2ns memory on my gfx card, what can it be flashed to?
