Flashing/discolored Lines in SLI Full screen

Whenever I run a game with SLI enabled I get discolored horizontal lines in videos and game screens, they glow really bright. I attempted to take a screen shot However the screen shot does not show the line and discoloration at all. Here is the kicker. This i have only tested with WoW, but when I put the game into windowed mode whether maximized or not, this does not happen at all.

I have searched and searched and seen this error in other places but no one gave a straight answer on how to fix it. So any Ideas you have would be great.

WoW does not specifically support SLI and it's success depends on individual systems. Since it does not provide huge performance gains I think most people do not run SLI mode in WoW.

Have you also read this article that describes issues around these problemshttp://www.playtool.com/pages/artifacts/artifacts.html

OK So last night i got home around 11:30pm central time, and was about to start going through troubleshooting. Well as always I checked to make sure the problem still existed. Low and Behold it did NOT. Fallout 3, L4D and WoW were all working as intended. So I thought to myself well maybe the capacitor I replaced on my 2nd gpu just needed to warm up a bit. 180uf 16v Cap on the rear end of the 8800gtx. The middle cap of the 3 on the back.

Well I was woken up by my girl friend the wow looked like shit on my computer. So I got up and well saw that the game had went back to the original look i started with. All horizontal lines in bright places lots of fuzzy glowing like areas. So Tested FO3 and L4D again and yup original problem was back.

Now here is what changed from the night with no problems to this morning. I defragged my computer. Aside from that no settings were touched at all. What do you all think is going on here.

Johnfrank- I checked out that site and looked through all of it. and I didn't see anything that resembled my problem really.

OK so I took my computer apart to switch the locations of my video cards. I noticed that one of my cables was putting pressure on one of the rear 3 capacitors. Now from what i was able to find doing some research is that these capacitors are here to reduce noise from power to gpu. I switched locations of cards, repaired my pressure on Cap problem, boot up and everything seems to be working. It is 10:30 at night right now however, i dont believe this problem has anything to do with time of day but hey you never know sometimes.
