Desktop/2D graphisc problems
Hi everybody.
To be honest I haven't really noticed this before but basically whenever I drag a window on my desktop it seems to fall out of sync vertically. Anything window or program wise that I drag around on my desktop seems to tear, jerk or just simply not work how it should.
I also get graphics lag when smooth scrolling in Firefox. 3d graphics poses no problems whatsoever. In fact it's not too bad at all.
The card in question is a 7600gt. The monitor in question is a 22" LG. I have tested another monitor with the same result. I have also tried 3 different sets of drivers. All voltages are nominal. I have tried adjusting settings in the Nvidia control panel, especially the Vsync settings.
Part of me is thinking that the video card is not the problem and is system related. My system is overclocked (as some of you may know), so I reverted everything back to normal settings. adjusting to a smaller resolution leaves the same result. I think I've tried everything that I can possibly think of. Even My laptop with integrated graphics doesn't do this.
As always, your help is appreciated....
