I'm sorry about that; you got me fair and square there. The only thing I can say in my defense is that, at the time I wrote that story, I hadn't spotted any stories indicating that Browzar was adware. (In fact, the deadline for Tech News was unusually tight last week because of Labor Day and my vacation). If I had, believe me, Browzar would have received the criticism it richly deserved.

Enable BSOD: Control Panel/Systems, Advanced Tab, hit the Settings button under Startup and Recovery, and under the System Failure area, uncheck the Automatically Restart checkbox.

i'm not trying to be mean, it is just the sort of thing you'd get them to make a joke about...
and archnaid, i know that it ONLY links it's searches to paid adverts, just like all other search engines do. but the point is that the browser does this by default, not as an option.
also you could have made the joke about people being too lazy to just delete the files themselves (after all, Browzar is actually just a wrapper for IE that auto-deletes everything and adds the searches).

lol yeah; and like I said, I probably would have if the deadline hadn't been quite so tight this time and I'd seen stuff about it being adware. firefox clears everyhting but my saved passwords and cokies out each time i close it.
IE lacks(to my knowledge IE 7 also lacks) such features.
browzar is not a browser, it is basicaly en extention to IE. web browser indeed .
