Vista refusing to ICS

Early this year, when i got my new laptop i had my 360 hooked up to it for live through ICS, i then bought a wireless adapter for the 360.

The adapter broke and i then tried to go back to ICS. Whenever i try to activate it it says...
"An error occurred while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled." It then closes the dialog box and the wireless settings box. Im runninng Vista not SP1.

Can someone please help me to get ICS back, i miss gow2!!

Thanks

EDIT: I got it working, disable the wireless connection, then share it and re-enable it.

EDIT: Okay maybe not... Seems that whenever i enable it, the wireless and ethernet refuses to go through to the internet, and only stays on "local" and im not even able to access my router's setup page, through either ethernet or wireless. Any ideas?

Cool

I'm having the same exact problem. It's the most frustrating thing! All I know is that I refuse to buy the 75$ network adapter.

Yes. When I get to step three, I check the button to activate ICS but when I press ok it gives me an error message saying an error occurred while enabling ICS. Any thoughts?
