but why do you need to do this? your network connection should always be on to begin with.

autoamtic refreshing LAN

Hi again,

I faced a problem with my network 3 days ago , where i was not able to execute ping.exe , the message was ping.exe could not be intialized, i tried to repair my network connection i got the following massage "failed to query your TCPip settings".(MY OS is windows server 2003 R2)

That why a need a batch file to always refresh(not repair) my network connection every 5 hours for example.

Resetting counters for the send and recieve packet may sound a good idea??

Please advise

thanks

there's probably something else that's wrong. take a look at your event logs and see if you see any errors.
