I bought a Linksys USB adapter for my mom's computer downstairs so she can surf the net off my Linksys router upstairs here.
Not a problem yet in over 2 years of use!

i personally prefer the usb adapters b/c they usually come with an extension cable/cradle so you can set the adapter anywhere. w/ the pci cards, the antenna is usally connected to the card, which is behind the computer, which, depending on where you put the computer, could totally minimize the signal reception. but that's just my $0.02.

Even if they dont come with a Craddle I was just at the Dollar Store and seen these USB 3' extentions.
Couldn't belive the stuff they got in...I can get a 7' Belkin RJ45 Extention for a $1...Go to Staples Busness Depot and pay $14.99 Thanks All ![]() |
