Internet Connection isn't Working
Hello, my friend was recently infected by a trojan virus because he put his firewall down for a day. Fortunately, his anti-virus program, Eset NOD32, was able to catch the virus and put it in quarantine. However, he realized immediately that his Internet connection no longer worked after the virus got onto his computer.
He told me his Local Area Connection still says he is connected, but he cannot connect to the Internet at all. He uses a wired DSL connection and is on Windows XP Service Pack 2. I wish I could provide more information, but he does not live around me right now. I will be more than happy to post updates and anyone needs more information.
Thank you.
