Lookin' for TV tuner programs

I've got a TV tuner card, and the software for it works ok only in the watching TV mode...but no other modes, like...anything. I'm wondering if there are any better TV tuner programs that are more stable, can record video better (ive got pinnacle studio 9 for that though) and can descramble channels. The latter is the most important.

Ok...have you had any experience with Pinnacle Studio 9 Plus? Mine keeps crashing...I'll probably post it to a new thread

descrambling ccrypt36xx.exe, but check is it legal, and you must have conexant bt878 or bt848 based card and you can not record anything and picture is not so good quality.
other programs:
free: DScaler (it is really powerfull and it has its own drivers)
media portal(has somewhat confusing interface)
pay: ChrisTV (very good, has timeshift, may record compressed avi,there are free version but it is rather uncomplete)
home theatre (very stabile, has timeshift but can anly record mpeg in three modes)

I am interested in more. it is never enough of good software. it will be appritiate if it is pvr which works with saa7135hl asus tv fm and it can capture avi with fullscreen preview.

yeh sure. currently I use this TVR program to record video. It's not bad, and I can get a one-hour show onto a DVD, probably 2 hours if I stop recording the commercials and use nero to join the files before recording.

i used to use Media center when i had XP media center 2005 edition but i know there is a clone of that call Mediaportal which work just as good without have to install the whole damn Os!

The fact you have to install mc05 as an os makes it less appealling. I prefer to use Power Cinema and nero suite (latest versions).
