Kinda like ares

alright, i had a programme to download songs that was almost the same as ares, but i dont remember the name of it, so if anybody knows the name of it, it would be grate.

OR

if some one can tell me why ares dosent work on my computer, it works fine, but once i start downloading something for a minute or two, my internet disconects and then goes back after like 20 secounds.

many isps are throttling p2p traffic so this is probably the problem you are experiencing. are you on a college network? if so, then they are most certainly throttling this traffic.

srry, not the best at computers right now, what do you mean college network ?

Are you connecting to the internet through a university network?

are you in college/university? either way, we do not help people illegally download music in these forums. the probelm you are experience is more than likely being caused by p2p throttling, and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. you do not own the network you're on so you're out of luck.

get something like frostwire or bearshare, ares always was a bit dodgey, i think i know the software that your on about... it was ad supported i believe... get something like azureus/utorrent (the u actually looks like the micro symbol but google still knows what your asking for) and search the intar web for torrent files.

I'm going to ASSUME you are talking about downloading songs you already have stored on a CD....
