Oh help help with my laptop

hello fellors am new here and have just joined while my favorable laptop is messed up.

here is the situation.
its a duo core intel processor, 2 gb ram and 1 gb ATI vga,
I recently been having problems with my hardware, first the usb ports started failing to run flash drives but in the devmgmt you can see them, then secondly over sometime the whole pc would refuse to boot, you would switch it on the processor light would flash one only and wont flash again but after a couple reboots it would boot and the screen would show. this has been happen for a while a three days ago it just went out and since then, its refusing to boot, we tried replacing the ram chips nothing works, then we tried taking it apart and blow the motherboard after restarting it come back we switched it off but as of this morning its refusing again we blow it again and right now it has chosen to make the situation permanent.

help help
I love my pc so much and can't afford to buy another right now

first off, what is the make and model of the laptop? Knowing this will help us determine if there are known issues the manufacturer has to warranty, sometimes even if your warranty has expired they will fix the issue due to rulings in class action lawsuits and so forth. Knowing the make and model would also help us track down what components you may be able to replace. If the motherboard contains memory and the processor that are soldered in, you will have a very expensive fix...but if the motherboard contains all socketed components you may be able to replace the motherboard for a hundred bucks - more depending on the type and class of laptop.

Often times when I am faced with a broken laptop motherboard the first places I turn are craigslist or ebay, and try to look for an identical laptop that has a broken screen or cracked shell, often times these can be found dirt cheap and are a good source of cheap parts.
