mother board

hey guys
quick question mother board i just finish putting together this system the board was a gift from my son-in-law.
i have a extra 150.00 i would like to get another board .
but i want to use my current cpu 1.8 intel 478 pin
I'm looking at something that i can use ddram i have sdram now 512mb any suggestion

new abits dont support the 400mhz fsb. The ic-7 doesnt pretty positive the is-7 doesnt as well. Get an intel 845 board it will do u good. Good stability and ddr compatability. Plus there real inexpensive.

no the both boards support older cpus that run on 100mhz fsb...i have a celeron 2ghz that run perfectly on the is7...in fact so well that it ran at 3.5ghz without a hiccup...the only cpus they dont support r the old celerons...below the celeron 2ghz...which i think are the wiliamette core cpus

some williamette cores r socket 478...like the old 1.6ghz ones that run on 256k L2
