Asus striker and psu connections
Hi! My friend bought himself an asus striker mobo couple of weeks ago. He spend a lot of money for it, he replaced almosteverything (including cpu, memory, case, psu and so on...) Also he got two gpu's in SLI mode. So far everything was going smoothly, he tried Crysis and couldn't shut up for 3 days, so I hit him with a shovel... Anyway - Crysis recently started to crash, and exits to windows. He checked his mobo, and discovered that he connected only one of 4pin connectors (atx12V). He said that he has 3 connectors of that type in his psu, but he only can connect 1 at a time, because none of other two can fit into second slot. I have no idea what kind of psu he bought (except that it has 750W). I just wonder, if it is necessery to connect both 12V connectors even if he have there dual core processor and two graphic cards. Any help?
