Cygnus got a kick ass board and the chances of getting that is pretty slim.... on the otherhand modding the NB is quite easy and I find that a poor overcloker (210-220fsb) needs just a lil more vdd to get to the 230s..... so I wouldnt be scared of getting a crappy one ..... no matter what if your willing to mod youll get high fsb....

lol i was't plannig on getting it...i was just wondering
d-tek, danger den or swiffy is the way i'll go for sure!
but the externel ones are quite interesting since its not gonna clutter the inside of the case. i have a pre-modded Enermax 3051 so i don't have a lot of room to play with!
hey Corbec....do you work for xoxide??
cause you are preaching bout them an awful lot!

well get a new case lol. my x-dreamer kicks ass. cheap and with a lil modding of fan grills, great airflow. plus it comes with blue led temp display. mine was 55 bucks with a pos "400w" psu. it only has 1 fan and no vents at bottom! imma get a mod for it...blue uv reactive w/ 92mm fan hole. d-tek makes a very good waterblock. x-dreamer can have 8 80mm fans and imma cut a bigger 120mm fan at blowole and maybe a second 80mm one. bright lights...
i love you? well uh anyways...that orbit is UGLY! U-G-L-Y you aint got no eliby you ugly yea yea you ugly. if i got it, id paint the cover. the tubing to the case looks like fucking arteries going to and from the lungs + heart. ok im all better

i must say that look pretty impressive! but thats in $U.S. so once i add a waterblock the price would get pretty steep.
i know i sound cheap...what can i do...just a university student with no job

well i just did the Pencil trick today and It helped a whole 1fsb...Rails are more stable .... I really want to kill this little BITCH of a MOBO I got.....I suppose it could be the CPU. But I drop the MULTI relax timings and still not stable above 215...ANY IDEAS???? I don't think the other mod is going to make much difference either...
Hell I even tried some serios AC cooling and up to 2.03 V I was pissed...Temps never over 54C

Im pretty sure youre just a lucky fuck J/K..... regardless thats one hell of an overclock.....I never got a chance to vmod my NF7S past ~1.8vdd cos there was no way for me to check the voltage.... my big ass gpu cooler was blocking everything...... did 233fsb at the most......
Climbski what was your resistance after the vmod? i had to do it a few times to get down to 540ohms....

Didn't even have a meter so I don't know....I just kept doing more pencil till I saw good changes in the reading on sytem doctor or whatever...I eventually put so much on it started getting less stable and then dropped voltage from bios to get it back to good......I know thats ghetto but I'm finally getting desperate... Also ran alot of 3dmarks to find when it was most stable..been a hell of a project today for a measly 1 stable fsb...
don't know if I'm making sense or not had a few beers

Bro get a multimeter for $12 and a 10k vr and do the resistor mod and up the voltage and you'll get your fsb up.
