Upgrading video card in IBM T40
First, is it possible to upgrade the IBM T40 laptop's video card w/o upgrade motherboard? Basically, I just need to know what I'd be getting into if I wanted to upgrade my video card and what video card is suggested (I was thinking about the ATI Mobility Radeon 9600).
Thanks |

Sorry, you cannot upgrade the video card for an IBM T40 laptop because the video card is integrated on the Mother board. Your only solution in this case is to purchase a laptop with the ATI Mobility Radeon 9600. If you had a desktop then yes, but mostly all laptops the video card is built into the board.

Have you managed to change the T40 video card?
My video card has just died in my T40 workpad. Did you manage to change your card, if so is it easy enough to do on your own?
