The easiest solution is to use the Offline NT Password & Registry Editor. I was recommended this tool by fellow dev-head Nilpo. It is very easy to use, simply download the .iso and burn it to a disk. You then boot from the disk and follow the easy directions on the screen. Its basic stuff like telling it what hard drive to look at, whether you want to remove or change the password, what account to apply the changes too, and so forth. The step by step instructions can be found here and what you see there is how it will appear to you when you boot off the disk.

This will work for any installation of NT, 2000, XP, or Vista..should even work with 7 though I havnt tried it yet The whole process shouldn't take but a few minutes.

If you have any trouble just let us know

There is also a way to do it without having to download anything. I know this works with xp but i haven't tested it in vista.
Boot your computer in safe mode, login (shouldn't ask you for password) and then once you get in, go to the control panel and change your password to what you would like it to be or simply remove it.
Hope it helps.
