Laptop screen help please

Okay so basically I have a Dell XPS and for the last 2 years it has been perfect

I then started connecting it to my laptop screen when i wanted to game as it looked a lot better then suddenly one day the laptop screen stopped working, I could keep playing but only if it was connected to a screen once it was unplugged it just went dark i can still see a very faint image of the screen.

Now I would have thought this was a hardware problem until one day randomly it just goes on again while I am playing, i was very happy. So i get back to my usual life of being able to lie in bed and watch series like i love doing in this winter.

Then literally 2 weeks later it is doing the same thing..I have tried to brighten it using the keyboard functions as well as Fn F8 but still nothing. Please if you have any solutions for me (I am not good with computers)

If it came back on again then it could be is loose connection or dry joint on a pcb or it could have been the faulty component finally giving up. To check these you will need to get someone that knows how to open up a notebook computer to check things.

The issue is most Likely The back light. Not to expesive of a fix if you do it yourself. probably cost you 150 or so in a repair shop.

It can be due to over heating or it does not able to load the game properly.
