Your best bet is probably to ask the manufacturer but AFAIK, they don't sell keys individually but googling it will never hurt

My mother-in-law is having the same problem with her laptop, we did remote assistance and the right half of her keyboard is typing numbers where there should be letters. Anyone know how to fix it?

URGENT HELP NEEDED<Toshiba Satellite M70 Keyboard Overlay Problem>

Hi All
Seems many fellow users have been crippled with the same keyboard problem .To touch on that again, I have toshiba Satellite M70 notebook. The right half of the keyboard has gone crazy.it has started behaving like the numeric keypad as we have on a conventional desktop keyboard.Ok agreed toshiba provides you with this Hot Key functionality to switch to numeric overlay keypad(Toggle switch Fn+F10 for arrows; Toggle switch Fn+F11 for numeric keypad and Fn+F12 for Scroll lock), but here the problem is despite toggling several times this problem refuses to go.I tried even interferes with the left half of the keyboard(symptoms: keypad stroke won't produce a character in a single hit, it will take some 7-8 hits in some keys;Spacebar zooms the screen. This additional hot key functionality has become a nightmare for me.I am left with no option than to use Onscreen Keyboard.SOMEBODY OUT THERE PLEASE HELP ME.Any fellow toshiba user or any person from the toshiba laptops firm itself ..URGENT HELP NEEDED

I have no answer but I have the same problem - this time on a Satellite A40. The F10 light flashes as the computer boots (in time with the HDD activity light) and then I get random switching on and off of F10 and F11 functions; spacebar zooms the screen etc.

Say that sounds like good news since I have the same problem (with a PC). Some keys just will fail to render. It will look like the following:

Four score andsven yearsago

You get the picture.

So what are the details on how you fixed it?

Help!

Hello,
I’ve been having these keyboard problems. Sometimes the keyboard will type fine and the other times, it won’t type certain keys. It’s only about 3 weeks old and I haven’t spilled anything on it.
However, that’s not my main complaint. When typing certain keys, it’ll trigger the computer to do something. For example, if I had ctrl + P, it’ll cause the print screen to come up. That’s a normal response. However, on my keyboard, all I have to do is sometimes hit “P” and it’ll bring up the print screen (usually it happens when I don’t want it to). Or if I’m typing, it’ll cause other pop-ups to come up or to X-out whatever I’m doing altogether. I’ve had to type this message twice before it worked.
I’ve run virus, Trojan, spyware scans. If it finds anything, it fixes the problem right away.
Can anyone please tell me what’s wrong and how I may fix it?

Thanks

It ever occur to you that maybe your Ctrl key might be stuck?

Nilpo agrees: Yep...and Ctrl+Q will often close apps and dialogs.

No that never occurred to me. But I don't think the key is stuck. It's not held down or anything. I used it just now and it's seeming to work fine. But it makes sense if it is getting stuck.
