i have had some experince with linux but it is just some messing around with some live cds didnt really learn how to use it to much i have tryed untubu(sp?) but i dont really like it to much i will check out opensuse, i am just looking for a distro that is fairly easy to learn and easy to install stuff or they have good support for it.
the specs are: CPU 300 mhz ram 64mb 4gb hd |

ya that is what i have been looking into but i have to do a frugl(sp?) install to install it on the hd and i dont know how to do that, and also it doesnt have a cd rom dive built in and the person i bought it from says he has one but he might not be able to find it, so is there a way to even install a new os with out it?

I know it's quite old topic but maybe it will be useful to someone.
mandriva pclinuxos opensuse ubuntu very easy to use, install etc... you should try it. I have tested PcLinuxOs on HP notebook and it was ok. Everything should work. |
