Choosing first lappy
Hey guys. Well it looks like I'm going to be needing a lap top. In case you dont already know, I'm in the US military and I will be getting deployed soon. Obviously I cant take my giant Antec 900 with me, so I'm looking for a lappy.
Here is what I want to be able to do with it: watch movies browse internet / download music etc... play some games lots of office type stuff (word excel etc...) Here is what I think I want: I want a 14 or 15.4" screen. I would like <6 lbs. The newer 45nm cpu that uses less battery (although I am open to AMD, I just dont know much about their line of mobile CPUs) some type of dedicated graphics card (again, I'm not versed in the plethora of different ones available) price range is $700-$1200 (hopefully as close to $1K as possible) Here are the ones I am considering: clicky I am partial to the Asus or Acer, although Lenovo makes a solid machine... Any help/guidance would be great! Thanks!
