best laptop for around 600-800 bucks??

this is really the bang for the buck 100$ more but a very good processor with a good video card for a laptop

you're probably gonna have to get a refurb, if you hope to get something for that price.

mmm i guess pentium 4
at LEAST 512 mb memory
internal wireless card
at LEAST a 32 mb vid card (with tv out)
win xp
dvd-rom/cdrw drive
