Bad LCD? Repairable? Toshiba A215
Hey guys, messing with a Toshiba A215 here
It's got some obvious screen issues
Works fine when hooked up to an external monitor. As a matter of fact, I hooked it up, wiped the HD clean, and installed a fresh copy of XP
I was HOPING that I could get away with just replacing the flex cable for $5...
I didn't get that lucky... same darn problem...
I've never dove into physically repairing LCD's, or don't even know if it's at all possible anybody have experience with this that might save me from buying a new $80 LCD?
