Ram upgrade
wutsup ppl, im looking into upgrading my computer ram but i have some questions.. right now i have 2 x 512 of kingston memory, im pretty sure they are at 533 mhz. Now i opened up my pc , (its an HP workstation xw 4300), and on the side is a sticker and it recomends DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) ram. Does that mean that i cant put in ddr2 800 mhz (PC2 6400) ram like these?? :
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145590 and if i could get these will i still be able to use with the ram i have now??? PS: tnx in advance ![]() |

Cheap and great performance, what can I say ?
![]() LE: your first option will do also, don't forget that a 800MHZ memory can run on 667MHZ but not inverse ![]()
