Problem with memory

Hey, I just noticed in Task Manager on Win7 that is says total memory 2046 but cached is only 747.

I would assume one of my sticks has bit the dust, but I'm curious why it still detects a full 2 GB.

I'd appreciate it if anyone can help me get to the bottom of this, otherwise looks like I'll need some Corsair memory
