Network card stops working if more then 1 gig ram installed

So i had 1 gig of ddr ram and it was not cutting it for me, i got 2 more gig's from a friend and when i install them my wireless card stops working, if i take the ram out it will start working again and i cant figure out what is wrong. Device manager says that the networking card is working properly but it cant find any network's. i know it is'int my network because my family's laptops can see and connect to it. any idea's? - oh and i'm new here.

I am also using a kn1 lite extreme motherboard.
and a broadcom 802.11n network adapter. probably should have mentioned that much sooner.
