Memory Voltage

I HAVE A ASUS PTGD1-LA (PUFFER M-UL8E) MOTHERBOARD WITH A VOLTAGE RATING OF 2.5V. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THIS WILL BE A PROBLEM BUYING G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F1-3200PHU2-2GBNS WITH A VOLTAGE RATING OF 2.6V.

IF I CHANGE THE VOLTAGE RATING IN THE BIOS WILL THAT HARM THE BOAD OR THE MEMORY?

THANKS FOR YOU HELP

SINCE THE BOARD SUPPORTS PC3200 YOU CAN HOPE THAT AT THAT SPEED THE VOLTAGE IS AUTOMATICALLY INCREASED TO 2.6V AS THAT IS THE STANDARD VOLTAGE FOR PC3200 STICKS. EVEN IF IT DOESN'T, THOUGH, I WOULD STILL THINK YOU WOULD BE FINE BUT THAT CANNOT BE GUARANTEED. IF IT DIDN'T WORK PROPERLY IN THIS CASE YOU COULD ALWAYS TRY CHANGING THE TIMINGS TO LOOSER ONES LIKE 3-4-4-8, THAT CAN USUALLY HELP. EVERYTHING EXCEPT CAS LATENCY CAN BE CHANGED FROM WITHIN WINDOWS TOO USING SOMETHING LIKE MEMSET SO THERE IS A CHANCE OF DOING IT THAT WAY IF THE BIOS DOES NOT ALLOW SETTING MEMORY LATENCIES.

Also, turn caps lock off.
