Installing rams to motherboard EVGA X58 3X

i would like to consult it to you guys if i correctly installed the ram stick in the right slot..

- my mobo evga x58 3x
- 6GB DDR3 1600 (3X2GB) 1.65V hyperx

it has 6 slots 1, 3, 5 ( redslot ) 2, 4, 6 (black slot)

1. i install the 3 rams in the red slot ( triple channgel ), is it okay?
2. i have 2 extra rams ( 2 2gb ADATA gaming series ddr3, 1.55v-1.75 ) can i still use it in my mother board? if so where? in the black slot?

1. Yes it's okay, that will give you maximum bandwidth.

2. You can use them but you won't get as much memory bandwidth, resulting in less performance. With 6GB in in triple channel, I don't think you would need those 2GB sticks in, seen as you are getting maximum bandwidth with a nice amount of RAM to fill up. Go for it by all means but I'd just leave it.
