Did i just f--- up? look at what i ordered
ok i purchased the AMD phenom II x4 955 processor with this ram and motherboard:

im just now being told that the ram wont be able to run at 1600. is this true? does newegg allow returns/exchanges?? im freaking out right now, what should i do?

Never ordered off the Egg b-4...but most places have a restocking fee of approx 15%.

I have in the past changed an order b-4 it was processed and it didn't cost me a cent.

I would call thwm ASAP to see if it could be changed

Ya, when did you place the order?


Also the board may have an issue running the ram at 1600mhz, but a little tweaking and you should be fine. It's nothing to really worry about.

i placed it sunday afternoon. its probably too late. i guess i will just keep the ram because i will have to pay the shipping back to newegg and it wouldnt really be worth the savings

Ya newegg is quick about getting orders. If you had e-mailed them sunday night you probably would have been ok. But if it doesn't work, then they offered it as a combo, so if it's not compatible than that is partially their problem and you would have some leverage on swapping out ram.
