Question Checking my RAM is Single or Double sided?

I am having a 512 MB DDR 400 Hz memory. And I am not sure if it is single sided or double sided RAM. Because I am going to buy another RAM to upgrade my system, I want to make sure I buy the same category. How to know it?
Thanks in advance.

How? Is it possible to check any system Devices and get the info from there? Or if I see it physically, how to differentiate if it is single or double sided RAM?

Are you sure you're not thinking of dual-channel? Double sided just means there's memory chips on both sides of the PCB. You just look at the sticks, and it'd be pretty obvious.

i think the single and double-sided ram only mattered w/ older computers. you should be able to buy any stick of ddr400 and use with without any problems. i've mixed and matched ddr400 memory in numerous computers (dell, hps, custom builds) and never once had a problem.
