Best buy? Looking for 2x2GB PC2-6400 Laptop

I have an HP DV4-1200 CTO (AMD Turion) laptop I want to upgrade.

Unfortunately, I haven't the money for an 8GB kit, so I will have to settle for a 4GB kit.

Here's the list I got from Newegg, which so far seems to be the best set of prices I've found.

I'm not up on memory, to tell the truth, so I don't know whether 5 CAS is better than 6 nor if 5-5-5-15 is preferable to 5-5-5-18.

So, could one of you memory gurus give me a quick lesson or recommendation as to which kit I should buy?

In general, the timings are latencies - the delay required for a specific operation to occur within the chip. Each number represents a different operation, and taken as a set, they indicate a little about the performance of the chip.

So, in general, lower is better, but a difference of 1 or 2 (or eevn more) between them is generally not noticeable without running benchmarks. Chances are you'll notice most of them are around the same set of timings, and then some below and groups above. Anything in that middle group should be fine. Anything below I'd avoid, and anything above isn't worth the premium IMO unless you're Brian Y. doing some serious overclocking and benching.

Buy the gskill.

Good brand, pretty much standard times and it's the cheapest.
