Red face About Dual Channel RAM...

My mobo has Four DDR2 RAM Slots. I have 2 X 512mb Kingston (800 Mhz) and a Single 1024mb Corsair (667Mhz). Is it possible to put these memories in to 3 slots and use it? What are the pros and cons ?

Any slightly modern Intel chipset can take your RAM and use it in dual channel, so.. What motherboard do you have?

I can't find anything about different configurations for dual channel on AM2.. So.. Your best bet is to put the two smaller sticks in one channel, and the larger stick in it's own channel. If the memory controller is clever enough, it should run dual channel like that.. If not, you're out of luck
