Okay this was weird. If anyone tells me I'm full of BS, I am going to say right now that I am not making this up. Just take it for what it's worth, and don't go on a diatribe about how people come up with excuses for attention. I just thought that this was weird.
I'll just copy from the email I sent to a friend....
Ya know, the weirdest thing happened today. Of course, it wasn't really all that weird until a few minutes ago. Now I usually don't get all into this spiritual stuff, but this I just had to share....
I'm over visiting the folks while I recover from the surgery and we're eating dinner. My mother sees something in the tree, and its eating something. We looked and at first weren't sure, and then got the binoculars out. I thought it was a condor (shows how much I know about birds)... Of course it was way too small and pretty to be a Condor. However, the amazement didn't last long when I announced that it was eating a little birdie.

My mother was pissed... It kept eating and eating and eventually she went outside and so did I. There wasn't much left of the bird, as I saw earlier through the binoculars that it was a fleshy mess. So RIP little birdie. Anyways, the reason my mom went outside is because she thought it was going after another bird. She threw a brick at it, but it was already gone. So that is the first little story about the Hawk, which was actually a Cooper's Hawk.
My mother was insisting that we figure out how to get rid of them and so I did a little search to get started and clicked on the top link that said "How can I get rid of a Hawk in my yard?" Before you click on the link, get a load of this quote:
"Native American folklore says: "If a hawk appears to you, then right now a clue about the magic of life is being presented. This magic can imbue you with the power to overcome a currently stressful or difficult situation."
I included the link just to show you that the site exist, and I'm not making this up. Everything happened in that order, and we saw the Hawk before I even read any of that short article. It also mentions how they tend to move on after a few weeks to new territory (the hawk).
I don't think I've ever been so speechless... My mom and I were like..... Holy Shit!??! Really? With all that is going on, I'm starting to think that these Native Americans know a lot more about good old mommy nature than we give them credit..........
Not to say what I really think is goin on, just that it was particularly weird....
Oh and here is the site...
