Hmmm... I don't see self-aggrandizing or groveling in the guide to earning rep points. Actually, crusading against the two with the most points is diametrically opposed to the guide!

But, you wrote the guide. Has it stopped working? Maybe I'd give you more points if your stroked my ego more. (But doing so only makes it bigger...)

Or is this exercise a self-referential work, just different enough from the past to be new, yet ironic? You aren't becoming a rep hipster are you?!

Or have you just spent your nest egg of rep points unwisely? Mayhaps you're becoming Ozzy, Metallica, AC/DC... releasing new works that are just different enough to be new, but which pale in comparison to previous efforts, and lack the same heart and soul.

I don't know what you're playing at, mphill. But I do know that I don't know how to react to something unless it is broken up into chunks easily spoon-fed, already interpreted, and with proper guidance as to whether I should be outraged or sympathetic. Oh, and celebrity guidance. After all, I need to make sure I stay in the right social camp. You're just confusing me. When I'm confused, I get scared. And when I get scared, I lash out. But I can't lash out with rep, because then I'd have to take a side.

So then I get angry. And then I'm liable to ban things. I think that's the best solution, really. I ban you, then I don't have to worry anymore! You get some fancy points, too... not rep points, per se, but the number I'd give you would put you in a far more exclusive club - something Nilpo and Hyena may never obtain...
