Pentium 4 vs Celeron D
hey ok i got 2 new prossesors and i just wanna clarify witch is better 4 my machine. 1 is a Pentium 4, 3.06GHz 4.07GHz. the other is a Celeron D, 3.46GHz 3.47GHz. My bet would be with the celeron but ive hurd bad things. just wanna here your opinion before i install it. thanks

The pentium 4 is better than the Celeron I think. Since it has HT well.. yeah.

hyper threading makes a single core act like 2 cores. Its pretty much double pumping info the the cpu. Also the celeron has less cache which makes a big difference in performance. My vote goes to the p4. Why are you asking cuz I hope you know that there is better out there
