Overclocking dual core
I have the Dual core 1.6ghz (slow i know)
I wanna overclock it to 2.0ghzat least (i have a zalman heatsink so no issues about heat there), now i used to be able to wack it up quite far id say about 1.9 on stock cause the heatsinks are crap, but now whenever i got hiugher than 1.8... the mobo will not post, only occasionally will it boot.
This has happened since i updated the bios, now could this be an update error or could it just simpoly be that it will not work anymore?
The mobo is MSI MS-7507 and cpu is Intel Celeron E1200
Atm its running core speed at 1210 mhz with 6x multiplier
So my question is is there any way of me overclocking higer than 1.7ghz... surelly i should be able to get higher than .1 of a ghz
