yessir says it right there in post. Its weird I cant for the life of me figure this out I KNOW it can go higher...
Lemme ask you guys something. I have been reading around a bit and I hear about a wall that you just cannot up the FSB any higher. So do you think that this would be the case that I cant up the FSB past 1400? This is a pretty nice board I thought so lemme know and if there is a wall wouldnt I be getting BSOD's and unstableness (a word?) or will it just not go any higher? |

if it is unlinked then no.
For a E8400 to have a hard time hitting 3600MHz is unheard of. It does not even require a voltage increase. I have a 780i board and it clocks just as well as a intel chipset. I would assume that the 750i would be comparable. Which release are you using for BIOS? when you try to OC in windows are you getting freezes with a 5MHz jump? |

BIOS 0502 and I can get a small jump but it BSODs I tried 355 with 1.35 vcore and got a BSOD
Ok new stuff going on I can get a small jump with AIsuite. the vcore on it is way off tho set it to 1.35 in windows and in BIOS it was 1.05 so lemme mess with it for a bit but any ideas please post ok scratch that it still reverts back to 3.15... ok BSODS were because whenever I use AIsuite to OC it links my RAM and it was way too high speed so I used AIsuite and reset then went into BIOS and synced it to bring it down to 750. But yea it still brings it down to 3.15 no matter what... |
