Motherboard: GA-8I915P-D ww.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Spec.aspx?ClassValue=Motherboard&ProductID=1941&ProductName=GA-8I915P-D

Currently using: Intel Pentium 4 640 3.2Ghz 800 FSB

Anything better than my processor? The motherboard is old.
It says "LGA 775 for Pentium® 4 Processor"
Does that mean it can only have Pentium 4s?

Unfortunately your board can only support p4's.

For you to upgrade to c2d for instance you would have to purchase a new board.
