Can you fix my car? I think that I might be a muffler or something...
Just think, this car is half way around the word and there is no way you can see it. The owner does not describe any symptoms or specific problems with it, he just asks how to fix it. Well, as you can probably tell, I made this up to ask for more info on the subject, due the the general lack of anything to do... Need more info man!

hey man some more info
this is the only other info i have. i just ask u to bear with me please...
its not a 486, but an intel celeron and i get a msg that says "primary master hard disk failure" and aslo sometimes " insert system boot disk and press enter". the pc hasent been used for over 6 yrs and has been gathering dust, but id like to try and fix it but have no idea where to start however. it usually boots to the a: drive. i don't have any boot disks for the pc, nor any idea about the operating system. if anybody has any idea about how to even attempt to start fixing this pc, your help would be much appreciated. thanx mole Quote:

Google boot disk and download a win98 boot disk profile for starters. Floow JKAs advice on the hard drive, but I get the feeling it's a goner.
