Bricks on the screen
having some new sort of problem now today twice my computer got some violet coloured small bricks all over the screen and then it got hang i have never got this prob before . plus last night i downloaded the game cryostasis and when i checked the gpu temps they were primary 105 c and secondary 75 c i dont think this is normal. my idle temps are high to 60 and 48 . is there something wronf with the gpu because it got overheated . my cpu is q6600 and is oced to 3.6 can this may be the problem.

They? So you're running 2?
How long have you had this exact setup? With that CPU + 2 GPU's + HDD, etc. there's a lot of heat being generated, you might want to reconsider how the air flows through the case. What'd you use to check the temps? Try running the same game / setup as your numbers above but open the side of the case so it's all just exposed. Do you know about what your ambient room temps are? The 60C is kinda high for idle, the 48C is closer to normal temps. |
