Exclamation 32 or 64 bit

can anyone tell me if my pentium 4 SL6PC is 32 bit or 64 bit and if it is 32 can i buy a 64 bit without having problems only info i have is on my currently dead cpu and it is a part # i think it is SL6PC need answer by tommorow morning because thats when i get my new cpu

The CPU is 32 bit. And, being socket 478, you can't upgrade to anything 64 bit because Intel didn't make any for that socket

At least, I don't think they did...

And where are you going to find a new 478 CPU? Or do you just mean new to you?
