Though this isn't the right place for this discussion, its very much true. There is no "hack proof" <insert whatever it was you wanted to make hack proof.> The reason is because you can only design something to work so many ways, while attempting to maintain integrity against a known set of "attacks." Meanwhile, there is an effectively much larger pool of people with seemingly limitless amounts of man hours to put into working around your attempts to prevent them. All it means is, there will be a new way to hack it. Same with any kind of DRM or Copyright Protection.
Think of a padlock. Does putting a padlock on your garage make it impossible for a determined criminal with a bolt cutter from breaking into your garage? Of course not. But it will prevent some random kid who's bored from just walking in and taking something at his leisure.
