yeah while they are an amazing deal they do not have the famed original D9GMH chips that could be found on older batches dated back around 2Q 2007. The newer batches do not have the double sided chips and for all you tracer fans instead of two led's there is a single led on the newer batches.

You can tell by the part numbers on the memory.

Here is a pic of the good stuff





The thing you are looking for is the last three digits on the parts number.
FD3 or FD5 the one's that will clock to the moon and run as stated with stock volts.

I also have a pair that is of the newer batch here that has one sided chips...

I bought these with the kind of deal SWK is showing right now. The one's above were the one's I paid top dollar for back in the day. Kind of messed up that they would bin them with crap later on down the road.



The last three digits as you can see are FE3.




They are garbage. Won't run at stock volts for me and OC like bargain OCZ sticks...
