Nintendo DS screens into computer case
I have an old DS that broke about a year ago, and I'd like to be able to implement both screens (along with the touchscreen) into the top panel of my PC case. The only problem is that I don't know how to interface this, so if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
Also, I have the DS mainboard in case I'll need to use the pin connector. |

It's really amazing what a little googling will accomplish.
Check this out. This guy took the video signals form his DS and ported them to a tablet PC. If you got the part numbers off the LCD screens, you might be able to google the pinouts for them (of failing that, perhaps the pinouts of the driver chips?).

Yeah, I wanna be able to see my CPU and system temperatures, and possibly like date/time, email, stuff like that. I just don't know how to connect the interface to my internal USB. So, yeah. |

Cool, i like the idea. You know you can get fan monitor displays to go in your 5.25" bay? have a look here
but its more fun to build it yourself is there software available to control the ds screens via usb? |

I'm not thinking there's software, but I'll get a USB library and compile a driver for it. I'm no hardware techy (or software for that matter), so that's where I need the help.
